Name: Shihouin Yoruichi
Age: Unknown (she's over a hundred.)
Hair Colour: Dark purple.
Eye Colour: Yellow.
Special Abilities: Yoruichi can transform herself at will into a black cat. She is also known as the "Goddess of Flash", due to her mastery of shunpo (flash-step). She is a master of hand-to-hand combat, as well as Kidoh, and has mastered the Shunkou (flash-cry) that allows her to concentrate reiki upon different parts of her body and use it to blast her opponents with.

Background
A member of one of the four oldest noble families in Seireitei, Shihouin Yoruichi rose through her family's ranks and soon took up a position as commander of the special forces. She personally selected and trained Soifon as her personal assistant and bodyguard, growing very close to the young girl. Due to unknown circumstances, likely those surrounding Urahara Kisuke's exile, Yoruichi abandoned Seireitei and Soifon, disappearing. For over a hundred years she was assumed dead, until she resurfaced with the group of ryoka that infiltrated SS to rescue Kuchiki Rukia. Yoruichi is known as the "Goddess of Flash" for her mastery of shunpou. Her combat prowess is unparallelled, and she is so far the only person who has mastered the shunko, a technique that combines hand-to-hand techniques with kido. Soifon has developed a lesser version of the technique on her own, but it has nowhere near the power of Yoruichi's. One of Yoruichi's more notable abilities is the ability to transform herself into a black cat at will.

Arrival
Yoruichi was pissed. Well, "pissed" didn't quite cover her feelings at the moment. Not that she had much time currently to worry about them, as the object thundering down the passageway towards her was momentarily at the top of her list of priorities. The feline-formed Shinigami made a mental note to find out who was in charge of the scheduling duties for the cleaner so that she could personally see to it that they were relieved of this form of "amusement" that they seemed to have for scheduling the damnable thing for every single time that Yoruichi had to take anyone through the gate that Kisuke called up in the basement training area of his store.

She ran faster, feeling the walls of the passageway beginning to reach out to ensnare small feet as they pounded along the corridor with the wailing pursuer close behind. Yoruichi swore mentally as she jerked one paw away from the clawing energy, feeling her muscles tighten as she pumped her legs faster. The thing was gaining on her...

God-damn that Kisuke. She let a scowl (or at least as much of a scowl as a cat could give) cross her feline features, whiskers bristling in irritation. He had assured her, in his typical laughing and laid-back way, that the cleaner would NOT be traversing the pathway that connected Soul Society to the human world until next Wednesday. And, of course, that selfsame cleaner now snapped at her heels with the howling fury of a bullet-train on stimulants. Growling, she ran even faster, not daring to take the time to look behind her and see if it was gaining on her. She didn't need to look. It was. Up ahead, she could see the faint light of the exit, and mentally heaved a sigh of relief. Goddess of Flash she might be, but that wasn't any help in the corridor where any use of reiki would only serve to ensure that one was attacked and drug into the recesses of the passage itself. Legs moved faster, muscles protesting loudly at the strain being placed on them. Nearing the exit, she gathered hind legs underneath her and lept for it, feeling her small body hurl through. Relieved, she stretched front legs out in front of her in preparation for the ground that would hurtle up to meet them. Only....the ground didn't come...

What the...?

Opening yellow eyes, those same eyes widened to find that she was not, in fact, in Kisuke's basement. Rather, she was about 20 feet above what looked like a swimming pool. On top of a building.... With a howl of protest, the black cat soared through the air to land in the pool with a splash, a cascade of water erupting into the air behind her. A few moments later, the air was thick with profanity as a very wet, very naked, and very angry Yoruichi hauled herself up onto the ledge at the side of the pool. SOMEONE would pay very dearly for this....
